Terms of use
These terms are an agreement between you and (owner name) ("we"), who runs KeyPop Studio at keypopstudio.com. By using the site you agree to them.
The service
KeyPop Studio is a design tool that runs in your web browser. It makes files for 3D printers and laser cutters from the text, fonts and settings you choose. The design work happens on your device; your designs are not uploaded to us.
Accounts
Downloading print files needs a free account, which is your email address. Keep access to that email secure, because sign-in codes are sent there. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to create an account. One account per person.
Your designs
Designs you make are yours. On the Free plan, items you print or cut are for personal use and gifts. With an active Pro plan you may sell items you make from your designs. Neither plan lets you resell or share the design tool, the templates as templates, or our files as a competing product.
Our software
The site's code, design tools, templates and generated geometry methods belong to (owner name) and are protected by copyright. The code runs in your browser only so you can use the service. You may not copy, scrape, decompile, modify, or reuse it, or use it to build a similar product. Open-source libraries we use stay under their own licenses (see Fonts & licenses).
Fonts and images
Fonts come from Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 or the Apache License 2.0. You may use them in items you make and sell, but you may not sell or redistribute the font files themselves. Some icons need an attribution credit, which KeyPop includes with your export. See Fonts & licenses.
Free plan limits
The Free plan includes a number of print-file downloads each calendar month (shown on the pricing page). Unused downloads don't carry over. Don't create extra accounts or interfere with the site to get around the limit.
Pro plan and payment
Pro is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment processor, Stripe, and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account page (Manage billing); Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it or we decide otherwise. If we change the price, we'll tell you by email before it applies to your next renewal. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.
Prints are your responsibility
KeyPop checks designs for common printing problems, but it can't guarantee how a file prints on your machine, materials or settings. Keychains and beads can contain small parts: keep them away from young children, and follow the safety rules that apply to anything you sell.
Acceptable use
Don't use KeyPop to make items that infringe someone else's trademarks or copyrights (such as team logos or characters you don't have rights to), or that are hateful or unlawful. Don't try to break, overload or get around the service's limits. We may suspend accounts that do.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; the date below shows the latest change, and we'll email Pro members about significant changes. You can stop using the service and delete your account anytime from your account page. These terms are governed by the laws of (state / country).
